Upon arrival at Ahmedabad Airport, Our Tour Manager will meet you and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or the sightseeing spot, as per the itinerary.
Today we will proceed to Kevadia. Kevadia is a scenic town in Gujarat. Nestled along the banks of the Narmada River. Enroute, we will visit Adalaj Stepwell - a stunning example of ancient architecture. Later we will visit Garudeshwar Dutta Mandir – a sacred temple located on the Bank of Narmadar River.
Upon arrival we visit Miyawaki Garden – named after Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki, this small forest is created using his method of afforestation that focuses on planting native species densely together so that they form an artificial ecosystem quickly without any external intervention or maintenance.
Today we visit the State-of-Art Zoological Park with unique collection of exotic animals and birds from the various biogeographic regions. Here we go for a Jungle Safari – to spot animals, reptiles and birds. We then visit the Valley of Flowers – spread across 24 acres of land and is a haven for colourful flowering plants along the bank of river Narmada.
We then view Sardar Sarovar Dam and enjoy boating in backwater of Narmada River at Nauka Vihar. Later we visit the iconic Statue of Unity – tallest statue in the world dedicated to Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. We enjoy the views of the surrounding from the viewing gallery followed witnessing Projection Mapping show at Statue of Unity.
Today we proceed to Vadodara – formerly known as Baroda, it was one of India’s richest princely states widely known for diamond trading. Enroute, we visit Champaner declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We visit the Fort of Pavagadh by Ropeway and Kalika Mata Mandir.
Today we proceed to Diu – a coastal town drenched in colonial culture, traces of which can be found in its architecture, cuisine and handicrafts.
Today we explore Diu, we start with visit to Diu Fort – Portuguese-built fortification was built in the during the 16th century. Here we also visit the light house – the highest point on the island and provides a spectacular view of the surrounding. Later we visit Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple – dedicated to the transformer of Hindu trinity - Lord Shiva, INS Khukri Memorial – memorial site of an Indian Naval Ship that sank during the Indo-Pak War of 1971 and Nagao beach and enjoy water sport activities here on your own.
Today we proceed to Sasan Gir. On arrival we visitthe Sasan Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya, renowned wildlife sanctuary famed as the abode of the Asiatic lions.
Today we proceed to Ahmedabad
Today we visit Sabarmati Ashram - set along the Sabarmati River, peaceful residence of Mahatma Gandhi which preserves his simple lifestyle, personal artifacts, and inspiring history. Followed by visit to Vision in Dark Museum – a unique experience of navigating spaces in complete darkness, guided by visually impaired hosts.
